MARYPORT GROUP PRACTICE

 

ASSISTANT PRACTICE MANAGER

Hours: From Thirty Hours per week (permanent contract subject to completion of successful probation) working four days a week.

Salary: commensurate with experience but in the region of Band 6 (Agenda For Change).

Six weeks paid annual leave plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata). Access to NHS Pension Scheme.

We are looking for a suitable candidate to assist with the provision of management support to the practice management team and partnership ensuring all information for fully informed decision making is provided and all opportunities are realised with particular reference to the remit of the GMS contract. To manage and coordinate all aspects of practice functionality, motivating and managing staff, optimising efficiency and performance, ensuring the practice achieves its long-term strategic objectives in a safe and effective working environment.

PRACTICE NURSE

Hours: Up to Full-Time/Whole-Time (Thirty-Seven-and-a-half hours per week) (permanent contract subject to completion of successful probation).

Salary: commensurate with experience but in the region of Band 6 (Agenda For Change).

Six weeks paid annual leave plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata). Access to NHS Pension Scheme.

The successful candidate would ideally have experience in managing Long Term Conditions, preferably with accreditation in Asthma/COPD although training would be provided. 

The successful candidate would ideally also have experience with general treatment room duties including minor injuries, wound care, ECGs, ear syringing, cytology & travel vaccines etc. A flexible attitude to work and the ability to work well within a team and independently is required.

CLEANER

An opportunity has arisen within the Practice for a Cleaner.

Hours: Fifteen Hours per week (permanent contract subject to completion of successful probation) working 18:00 – 21:00 (Monday to Friday)

Salary: (based on National Minimum Wage)

Six weeks paid annual leave plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata). Access to NHS Pension Scheme.

The ideal candidate would have experience with cleaning in clinical environments and knowledge of infection control procedures and handling of infectious waste and hazardous products. Responsibilities would include the cleaning of the entire Surgery premises in addition to safety, maintenance and cleanliness checks. Candidates would also be expected to possess physical capability for this role.
